Moving East (day 7)

When i woke up this mourning i realized that i was not in my room in Colorado but in a hotel sort of room that is right next to camp gravat. I woke up to find my mom already up ( which is unusual since back home i was the one who woke her up). I got ready and walked to aunt Laurie's house to find that everyone was there because they had the day off. We all basically hung out and jumped on the trampoline. I asked if we could go to the camp because i haven't been there for years! they agreed and we walked off to camp and jack said we should play hide and seek and everyone else, besides me and Sarah, agreed (which is unfortunate for Sarah because there are 4 of them and 3 of them like to do little kid stuff and they have the majority. she is also the oldest one out of all of them and the one i can mostly relate to since she is only about 2 years younger than me) We played for a bit and then my evil possessed phone turned itself on and started saying Verizon wireless a billion times out loud! I really need to get a new phone because that thing has bad battery life and it can also turn it self on and say Verizon wireless really loudly... But luckily i wasn't caught! We decided to go to "the pit". Which we had to hike to and let me tell you hiking with younger kids is a DRAG. All they do is complain and ask if we are there yet! which i used to do but now i don't. Finally we made it and we played around there for a bit. Apparently "the pit" was a construction zone or something which they just gave up on and now it is used for kids to play with during the summer. When we got there Sarah looked around for a plate of toothpaste which they had found last time they were there, they found it but someone had throw it into the fire pit there (why is there a fire pit there? are there Hobos around or something?). we then realized it was time for dinner so we walked back to the house and let the younger kids run full speed ahead and Gracie (the one who was #2 out of the 4) walked slowly behind us (which she did since we started hiking. she was the main complainer out of the 3). we made it back and had some supper (apparently supper is different from dinner) watched T.V. for a bit and had ice cream and me and my mom decided to head to the room where i am now listening to the outside world gently fall asleep just like i am about to do now...

Moving East (day 6)

well i woke up this mourning with a back pain i haven't felt since i fell of my bunk bed when i was little. It hurt like crazy and made it almost impossible to move without feeling pain. I ran for some asprin and got a glass of water and chugged it down with the asprin in it. A little while later i felt better! i went up stairs and found that it was just me and my mom in the house and no one else. But that's because they had to all go to work or school. They had left us a box of doughnuts were i gladly took one and had it as my breakfast. After that we packed up and headed out to Aiken. I took a few doughnuts for the road too. I then chilled in the Miata (that had the hood down) and watched the scenery past by us. After about 3 hours we made it to camp gravat! I haven't been there since i was like 10! We drove up to Aunt Lauri's house and went in. The only people there was Danny and Jack, who where both hanging out doing nothing. We made ourselves at home and chatted until Gracie and Caid got home. We all then went to jump on their trampoline (might i add that was a good trampoline it had good springs but sometimes they broke off) for awhile and then Sarah came home (finally the only person there that is closest to my age) We then hung out inside and then went on the trampoline again. We then had dinner and ate it around the house (which is odd because i am use to sitting down together and eating) My mom came home from having drinks with Aunt Lauri and we decided to head to the community center at the camp (which is where we were staying) and got into bed and here i am drifting off into sleep as i write...

Moving East (day 5)

Well we got off our lazy butts and headed towards my moms friends house. But first things first we needed breakfast. We decided to go look for one but surprisingly the hotel room came with a free continental breakfast. So we ate and headed out the highway. It was a kinda of a long drive but not as long as the first day, and plus, we had the hood down the entire time. Me and my mom argued about if it was too cold to go out and of course i won. (or else we would have no hood down) So then we made it to her friends town were we ate a very greasy yet delicious lunch. My mom said that i need to get use to it because they made it like how southerners make it. Which i had no problem with if all their food was as good as that lunch! After finishing we went down to his GIANT house on top of a hill with a beautiful view of the mountains around us. (if i forgot to mention we got to some mountains while traveling) I looked around his house and in the basement i found a flat arcade system there for 4 players! I asked him if i could play it and he showed me how. Apparently it was just a computer desktop setup as a arcade system and had guys build the stuff around it, but the good side is that he got a application that had a bunch of different arcade games. (It had about 70 or so) I played it until about night were we had dinner (some really good steaks right along his porch that a had a great view of the place) and afterwards we had a kinda of bonfire. He still had his Christmas tree and needed to get rid of it so he decided to burn it instead of throwing it away. So we burned it and it was AWESOME!!!

Then we put it out and went into the hot tub for awhile. Then we had desert and i felt sleepy after it so now i am in bed and dozing off to the sound of my typing...

Moving East (day 4)

Well i woke up this mourning and the first thing i remember is that i woke up to a throbbing stabbing pain in my shoulder! i ran for some aspren and water and took some and went to packing the trunk. Today is the day i get to go to bens college for a tour! So me and my mom packed up and we said goodbye to my grandma and drove away. But before we went anywhere we stopped for gas. Right next to the gas station was a Dunkin Doghnuts (which i have never been to) and asked if i could go in. My mom gave me money and i went and got 2 doughnuts and a drink for the road! what a delicious breakfast that was! So after that we headed down the road and put the hood down on the miata ad made it to bens college at about 2 a clock. He showed us around and mom still was teaching me about the flowers and plants around us but all i could think about was how badly my foot was hurting because of my old destroyed shoes. The shoes under pad was coming of so there was no support and my feet dont like that! Anyways after the tour I got a t-shirt and headed off to bens dorm room. That's where me and ben played video games and decided to walk to a giant cross at the top of a cliff!

So that was pretty cool! We got back played some more games while my mom rested and then we got hungry and went to the cafeteria. and might i say that is one of the BEST cafeterias i have ever eaten at! There was SOOOO many choices I of course had to go back for more! after that experience i was stuffed! Me and my mom both got tired and said good night and see you later and headed back to our car and drove to the hotel which i am at right now and getting very sleepy and drifting asleep as i speak....

Moving east (day 3)

After getting to my grandmas house i got some dinner and fell asleep instantly. Which is weird because last time i was there i watched TV almost all night! (mostly because they had a bunch of channels that i don't have) I woke up this mourning and i went up stairs searching for food. When i got up there i saw my mom there chatting with grandma holly. I asked if there was any breakfast and they replied that it was around noon and lunch was 1.5 hours away. I was shocked that i slept for 12 hours but i was too hungry to show it. I went down stairs and watched some shows on my netflix account on my Ipod touch. I came back up ate some food and we decided to head to some place full of flowers. Well i went and my mom has been trying to teach me which flowers are which so that was a lot of learning. The only plants i remember is Cephilia and daffodils. After that we went home and hung out. Then my grandma had to go do something and said she wouldn't come back in time for dinner. So she went and me and my mom decided to go out for sushi! When we got there i saw that there was a bar and we sat there and ordered some sushi. We talked awhile and ate our food and left. When we got home i watched some T.V. and went online for awhile. Then i felt tired so i got onto my bed and fell asleep.

Moving east (day 2)

I woke up this mourning with a headache from all the traveling from the day before. We just barely had gotten a room at Columbia, Missouri we had tried a hotel from across the street but it was booked full. The reason behind that is that there was a competition going on and the contestants stayed the night at where we were staying! But anyways we got our stuff together and headed out and stopped at a McDonalds for breakfast the drive through line was very long so we decided to go inside. But that was a bad idea we were waiting forever for our meal and it seemed that the drive through was shorter and was the most easy way to go! So after getting food we started down the trail to nashville where we made just in time for my mom to meet her friend for dinner and me to get comfy enough to sleep.

Moving east (day 1)

(note that this is will take off from the beginning of spring break)This is sooooo exciting! i get to go to south Carolina to visit my cousins, aunt, uncle, and grandpa! I haven't seen them in like 3-4 years! Man im sooo excited! My mom also had to meet a friends in nashville on saturday night so i got to leave school early!!!! I was soooooo happy. Through out traveling in Kansas i just kept thinking to my self, "this is one of the most boring states you could possibly be in! Theres nothing to do!" so Day 1 so far had been nothing but travel. Now im past Kansas and in Columbia, Missouri! I am falling asleep now but not from tiredness but from excitement so day 1 has passed and onto Day 2!
