Moving East (day 7)

When i woke up this mourning i realized that i was not in my room in Colorado but in a hotel sort of room that is right next to camp gravat. I woke up to find my mom already up ( which is unusual since back home i was the one who woke her up). I got ready and walked to aunt Laurie's house to find that everyone was there because they had the day off. We all basically hung out and jumped on the trampoline. I asked if we could go to the camp because i haven't been there for years! they agreed and we walked off to camp and jack said we should play hide and seek and everyone else, besides me and Sarah, agreed (which is unfortunate for Sarah because there are 4 of them and 3 of them like to do little kid stuff and they have the majority. she is also the oldest one out of all of them and the one i can mostly relate to since she is only about 2 years younger than me) We played for a bit and then my evil possessed phone turned itself on and started saying Verizon wireless a billion times out loud! I really need to get a new phone because that thing has bad battery life and it can also turn it self on and say Verizon wireless really loudly... But luckily i wasn't caught! We decided to go to "the pit". Which we had to hike to and let me tell you hiking with younger kids is a DRAG. All they do is complain and ask if we are there yet! which i used to do but now i don't. Finally we made it and we played around there for a bit. Apparently "the pit" was a construction zone or something which they just gave up on and now it is used for kids to play with during the summer. When we got there Sarah looked around for a plate of toothpaste which they had found last time they were there, they found it but someone had throw it into the fire pit there (why is there a fire pit there? are there Hobos around or something?). we then realized it was time for dinner so we walked back to the house and let the younger kids run full speed ahead and Gracie (the one who was #2 out of the 4) walked slowly behind us (which she did since we started hiking. she was the main complainer out of the 3). we made it back and had some supper (apparently supper is different from dinner) watched T.V. for a bit and had ice cream and me and my mom decided to head to the room where i am now listening to the outside world gently fall asleep just like i am about to do now...

Moving East (day 6)

well i woke up this mourning with a back pain i haven't felt since i fell of my bunk bed when i was little. It hurt like crazy and made it almost impossible to move without feeling pain. I ran for some asprin and got a glass of water and chugged it down with the asprin in it. A little while later i felt better! i went up stairs and found that it was just me and my mom in the house and no one else. But that's because they had to all go to work or school. They had left us a box of doughnuts were i gladly took one and had it as my breakfast. After that we packed up and headed out to Aiken. I took a few doughnuts for the road too. I then chilled in the Miata (that had the hood down) and watched the scenery past by us. After about 3 hours we made it to camp gravat! I haven't been there since i was like 10! We drove up to Aunt Lauri's house and went in. The only people there was Danny and Jack, who where both hanging out doing nothing. We made ourselves at home and chatted until Gracie and Caid got home. We all then went to jump on their trampoline (might i add that was a good trampoline it had good springs but sometimes they broke off) for awhile and then Sarah came home (finally the only person there that is closest to my age) We then hung out inside and then went on the trampoline again. We then had dinner and ate it around the house (which is odd because i am use to sitting down together and eating) My mom came home from having drinks with Aunt Lauri and we decided to head to the community center at the camp (which is where we were staying) and got into bed and here i am drifting off into sleep as i write...

Moving East (day 5)

Well we got off our lazy butts and headed towards my moms friends house. But first things first we needed breakfast. We decided to go look for one but surprisingly the hotel room came with a free continental breakfast. So we ate and headed out the highway. It was a kinda of a long drive but not as long as the first day, and plus, we had the hood down the entire time. Me and my mom argued about if it was too cold to go out and of course i won. (or else we would have no hood down) So then we made it to her friends town were we ate a very greasy yet delicious lunch. My mom said that i need to get use to it because they made it like how southerners make it. Which i had no problem with if all their food was as good as that lunch! After finishing we went down to his GIANT house on top of a hill with a beautiful view of the mountains around us. (if i forgot to mention we got to some mountains while traveling) I looked around his house and in the basement i found a flat arcade system there for 4 players! I asked him if i could play it and he showed me how. Apparently it was just a computer desktop setup as a arcade system and had guys build the stuff around it, but the good side is that he got a application that had a bunch of different arcade games. (It had about 70 or so) I played it until about night were we had dinner (some really good steaks right along his porch that a had a great view of the place) and afterwards we had a kinda of bonfire. He still had his Christmas tree and needed to get rid of it so he decided to burn it instead of throwing it away. So we burned it and it was AWESOME!!!

Then we put it out and went into the hot tub for awhile. Then we had desert and i felt sleepy after it so now i am in bed and dozing off to the sound of my typing...

Moving East (day 4)

Well i woke up this mourning and the first thing i remember is that i woke up to a throbbing stabbing pain in my shoulder! i ran for some aspren and water and took some and went to packing the trunk. Today is the day i get to go to bens college for a tour! So me and my mom packed up and we said goodbye to my grandma and drove away. But before we went anywhere we stopped for gas. Right next to the gas station was a Dunkin Doghnuts (which i have never been to) and asked if i could go in. My mom gave me money and i went and got 2 doughnuts and a drink for the road! what a delicious breakfast that was! So after that we headed down the road and put the hood down on the miata ad made it to bens college at about 2 a clock. He showed us around and mom still was teaching me about the flowers and plants around us but all i could think about was how badly my foot was hurting because of my old destroyed shoes. The shoes under pad was coming of so there was no support and my feet dont like that! Anyways after the tour I got a t-shirt and headed off to bens dorm room. That's where me and ben played video games and decided to walk to a giant cross at the top of a cliff!

So that was pretty cool! We got back played some more games while my mom rested and then we got hungry and went to the cafeteria. and might i say that is one of the BEST cafeterias i have ever eaten at! There was SOOOO many choices I of course had to go back for more! after that experience i was stuffed! Me and my mom both got tired and said good night and see you later and headed back to our car and drove to the hotel which i am at right now and getting very sleepy and drifting asleep as i speak....

Moving east (day 3)

After getting to my grandmas house i got some dinner and fell asleep instantly. Which is weird because last time i was there i watched TV almost all night! (mostly because they had a bunch of channels that i don't have) I woke up this mourning and i went up stairs searching for food. When i got up there i saw my mom there chatting with grandma holly. I asked if there was any breakfast and they replied that it was around noon and lunch was 1.5 hours away. I was shocked that i slept for 12 hours but i was too hungry to show it. I went down stairs and watched some shows on my netflix account on my Ipod touch. I came back up ate some food and we decided to head to some place full of flowers. Well i went and my mom has been trying to teach me which flowers are which so that was a lot of learning. The only plants i remember is Cephilia and daffodils. After that we went home and hung out. Then my grandma had to go do something and said she wouldn't come back in time for dinner. So she went and me and my mom decided to go out for sushi! When we got there i saw that there was a bar and we sat there and ordered some sushi. We talked awhile and ate our food and left. When we got home i watched some T.V. and went online for awhile. Then i felt tired so i got onto my bed and fell asleep.

Moving east (day 2)

I woke up this mourning with a headache from all the traveling from the day before. We just barely had gotten a room at Columbia, Missouri we had tried a hotel from across the street but it was booked full. The reason behind that is that there was a competition going on and the contestants stayed the night at where we were staying! But anyways we got our stuff together and headed out and stopped at a McDonalds for breakfast the drive through line was very long so we decided to go inside. But that was a bad idea we were waiting forever for our meal and it seemed that the drive through was shorter and was the most easy way to go! So after getting food we started down the trail to nashville where we made just in time for my mom to meet her friend for dinner and me to get comfy enough to sleep.

Moving east (day 1)

(note that this is will take off from the beginning of spring break)This is sooooo exciting! i get to go to south Carolina to visit my cousins, aunt, uncle, and grandpa! I haven't seen them in like 3-4 years! Man im sooo excited! My mom also had to meet a friends in nashville on saturday night so i got to leave school early!!!! I was soooooo happy. Through out traveling in Kansas i just kept thinking to my self, "this is one of the most boring states you could possibly be in! Theres nothing to do!" so Day 1 so far had been nothing but travel. Now im past Kansas and in Columbia, Missouri! I am falling asleep now but not from tiredness but from excitement so day 1 has passed and onto Day 2!

CSAP (Colorado stupid assesment program)

oh crud, CSAP is on! its way different from last years, i feel like in the math section they gave us the 10th grades CSAP instead of the 8th grades. The L.A. part was easy i just made a step by step guide to get an A+ on a test. But math, oh my gosh, NO ONE COULD ANSWER IT CORRECTLY!!! i heard it in the hallways every one had no idea of what to answer. My friend only made it to question 3 and refused to answer another. It was THAT HARD. even the geometry kids couldn't get it! there the top of the top in middle school! if they can't understand it, then we are SCREWED. well in other new, THE POLL HAS ENDED! Mario is the most popular game apparently. Also i am very sure that i got A's and B's for this quarter! i just turned in a project with 2 things of extra credit! 1 is for doing the extra credit and 2 is because she move the due date but said if you turned it in on the original due date you get more extra credit WHICH I DID!!!! anyways i got to rest for tomorrows CSAP...

old styled weekend

well, despite the fact that over the weekend i used electronics i have been doing some old stuff. For starters on Saturday me and my friend found a gas station that sells glass bottles of soda! As a teen born in 1996 i do not get to see or even drink those! I bought 2, 1 Fanta and 1 pepsi. I kept the bottles so i could reuse them for other drinks and my friend gave me his empty bottle of Coca-Cola. I have been using those for all my drinks lately!
Then afterward i was listening to my dad record his old albums from when he was around my age. I then started to play Rock band Beatles version. My dad gave me a whole lecture on the history of the Beatles. I had no idea how the whole world was basically wanting to know everything they were doing! that would be stressful! Well i gotta go pack for my moms house and eat lunch.

week went by fast

jeez, this week has been going so fast lately, i mean, It's already Thursday! I wish all weeks go by as fast like this one, so that way i can get to weekends and breaks faster. Then it be summer break! But i am going to be in south Carolina for 2 thirds of the summer break. Which i don't mind but at the same time, i will be wanting to be with my friends from here. Also i will miss my dad... i haven't been apart from a parent of mine for more than 2 weeks, this summer i going to be away from dad for around 5 to 6 weeks... Well in other news, the polls are in! so here they are:
South Park: 6 votes
Futurama: 3 votes
Family guy: 2 votes
Other: 4 votes
it seems to be that south park got 6/8 so it wins! I wasn't actually surprised, it was usually going up by 2 thirds every 2 days. But i didn't know not many people liked family guy! That is very surprising to me. Same for Futurama! I thought it went back on due to popular demand! i posted a new poll it's on which common video game title do you like best! Well i need to get to school, which hopefully goes by fast again!

what a sad sad conclusion in T.V.

well, if you read my earlier blog on how i said i got a new favorite T.V. show called code monkeys, well i just heard it was canceled, like, a looong time ago. Which is sad since T.V. show producers come up with just crap nowadays. I mean if you like crude humor, video games, or are just wanting entertainment it was the show to go to. but since it didn't meet the rating standards they came up with a show to replace it and that got canceled then replaced that one and that got canceled and so on. Well if you ever come across a good T.V. show enjoy it, because the T.V. producers well soon end it to make more crap which they think is good. Well listen to this, and i have facts on this to! (kinda sounds weird that i did research for this but i am PISSED at T.V. producers cuz they cancel to many good shows!) Most people say that kids (ages 10 and below) are the highest T.V. watchers in the country, so they targeted them to get more ratings, but all in all almost every show they made got pulled off, because the kids were watching so much T.V. that the parents took them away from it. Then they came to another conclusion that Adults (ranging from 21-39) where the most watchers in America, so yet again they targeted them. Then they grew old of T.V. and sold it to get something better for them. So again the shows got canceled. But what they are about to finally realize is that TEENS are the most watchers in america! (what took them so long?) I have started to watch WAAAAAY more T.V. since i was 11. It's like a natural thing to do as a teen. But over the years they have been canceling the shows WE like, but they said there targeted audience rating weren't high enough so they canceled them. Now they are making progress because T.V. producers are slowing making better shows for US! (south park, family guy, futurama, the Simpsons and much more) and have they gone off yet? NO! because we have watched them over and over and over and over again! But if for any reason the show gets canceled it's because it's the parents! (forgot about them...) they think we shouldn't be watching this stuff cuz hey cussed a few times or have to many references to sex. Well i say, if we want to watch that LET US! You aren't being a bad parent, just for allowing us to watch that, we should be THANKING you for letting us watch that! (instead of being a control freak of what we do and be an outcast because we aren't allowed for us to watch what they are talking about) But i can say if we are watching like porn-o stuff in it, you should make stay away from those episodes. Which brings me to my next point, it's not the shows fault! if you don't believe me listen to this, so a parent was playing farmville on facebook (an OK game, but can get addicting) and he/she's (not sure what gender) baby was drowning from falling into a pool, but didn't notice cuz she was playing farmville, then she blamed facebook for it! now look lady/man, it wasn't facebooks fault it was YOUR OWN! you were distracting yourself, farmville was just there for entertainment not to murder your baby! (not trying to be mean, it is a very sad story) And why am i talking about this? because parents are blaming T.V. for what we do, i mean, it's not lie we imitate what we see, we are smart enough to know good from bad, it's not like we are 5 or something! We chose to do it ourselves not from T.V.! We are in a weird state in our lifes and we are experimenting with stuff! (not drugs! Don not worry we get educated that drugs are HORRIBLE and will kill us if we do it.) which brings me to a new point, the only reason we do bad stuff is cuz our parents are holding on to us waaaaay to carefully! which, at this age, we start to rebel, and how bad we do it is based on how controling you are trying to be! if your a supreme control freak we will forget what we learned and do the drug! is that what you want? well anyways, my fingers are frozen, and i just want to say one more thing, i am reporting this for parents and for teens to show there parents, we all need to be educated on this, it's not something we learn from school! it's something we learn from experience! (the end, you may now clap for me! cuz this was a REAAALY long post and took forever to do! and all i want is to be applauded, and for my info to be taken literally, and used in good use.)

i hate mondays

why is monday the WORST day of the week? my guess is it's because it's the first day out of 5 that you start to work. Unless working is doing whatever you want, then it sucks. Hopefully someday i will be something thats fun and not stuck in a office just doing paperwork. But at the same time i got some work done! i made a banner for my title! but i got to get it to be able to be posted first. but the reason im guessing it won't get uploaded because i must have made it on photo shop on a mac. now i need to get back on the mac and upload it. Then i can show you what it looks like. But hopefully the school won't have blogger blocked, i mean why would they? it's not something bad for a kid! i think it's better for us to be doing this instead of staring at our teachers just talking and talking and talking until finally, my brain starts throbbing and i decide to take a quick nap. Or i could be doing something productive like this instead of listening to a teacher ramble on about something waaaaaay off topic from what we started with. So ill be getting on that tomorrow. Also my mom said she decided to show my blog at her seminar to show what kids can do during a off day from school. I hope it makes them want to cancel school instead of making us go through a lot just to get there! That would be awesome! Well in other news, i found a cool new show on netflix called code monkeys! The whole show looks like a video game and acts like one to! It's pretty good but it's not the best show I've ever seen. But that's just my point of view, well i am getting tired of typing now, so im gonna go now!

weekend party

well, the weekend has been very fast but very enjoyful! i was able to go to my friends house after school and play backyard football. then i got to go bowling with another friend and sleepover at is house. (why do they call them sleepovers? no one ever sleeps!) well the super bowl (as my dad would say it the stupid bowl) is happening today. Since my mom isn't here and she is cheering for the steelers I'm gonna cheer for her. She also told me the story of how the steelers were doing bad then everyone got towels and flung them around and they started to win, so now i have to say "fear the towels". (which is kinda awkward to do)Well i gotta prepare for the super bowl by setting out a bunch of chips and stuff out in the living room.

Weekend! feels like school flew by...

well as some of you might know i got a 5 day weekend last weekend and got only 2 days of school this week! lucky me! now it's weekend again (already?) and the Superbowl is on Sunday! (wow) it feels like the last one happened way to long ago. To make this the best weekend we decided to go out for sushi and go to ripple (an ice cream place where it's self served and cheap) for dessert. Now we are playing rock band Beatles version for a kick off to the weekend!
how exciting! i was playing Bass, but i quit. i decided to go to bed because im tired. I went to my friends house and we all played backyard football. (my first time) it was FUN! i got a work out and a great time! then we got cold and wet so we went inside and played football on his Wii. Now i'm tired and falling asleep as i type.

laughed the whole day through

well, school was not as predicted, people where making jokes through out the day and i was lmao the entire time. only a few minutes between jokes where my laughing breaks. it was as if the school was injected with laughing gas but only had an affect on me. Then i came home and watched T.V. and for some reason laughed even more even at the not funny parts. My mom started to laugh like crazy from the study and i came to see what it was and it was some pics from http://damnyouautocorrect.com/ and there were HILARIOUS!!!!!! it was just as good as fail blog! It was all about how the spelling auto check on the Iphone and how it changed what they said into something completely different! Besides having no time to breathe it started to snow around 4th period. Which gave kids hope of yet another snow day, but then they realized how warm it was outside and how easily melted the snow was, and yet, another dream was crushed from hopes and dreams of no school. But once the day was through i didn't care wither or not there was school tomorrow as long as i was able to laugh the entire day away! But in other news, well there is no other news.

T.V. good or bad?

let me go on record and say that T.V. is the most interesting and useful/fun electronic right beside the computer. (both are pretty awesome aren't they) but, there's a bad side to T.V. (Gasp!) yeah, i know right? but ever since there have been diffrent T.V. cables to hook up to so you can use your $1,000- $2,000 H.D. T.V. things have gotten out of hand. First you buy the T.V. pack then they come and hook things up and for a few days your satisfied but then issues come into place. either the cable box breaks or the antenna breaks or the reception goes off for a few weeks. So now all you have in front of your giant sofa is a blank screen with fuzz all over it and people are starting to get pissed off or start having seizures. Now you have to get the cable guy to come back to fix it so you can start to use the T.V. that you just bought for a lot of money! Then a few months go by and it happens again, and finally you get a new cable box and guess what? IT'S BROKEN!!!!!! i have finally decided to screw T.V. and watch stuff online until the service gets better. Plus it was starting to give me headaches after watching it for 1 to 2 hours. The reason i'm writing this is because my T.V.'s cable box power plug doesn't fit right in the socket.

So now I'm pissed at Comcast because the plug won't go in and now my T.V. is useless. Why couldn't they stay with the main cable box powers all the T.V.'s? It's just some stupid idea that they think we will fall for, well i say NO!!!! I WILL NOT PAY FOR THIS!!!!! I WILL JUST USE A DIFFERENT CABLE LINE!!!! and if everybody does that they will change things and peace will be restored!

P.S. i added some gadgets so check them out and i made a poll for which T.V. show do you like better, you only got till next wednesday to vote so you better get on it!
